i2Integration Unveils Winning Website, Logo for East Lansing Home Care Pros

When Arnie Cisneros and Teri Thompson set a goal to establish a professional logo and website that could be used as a platform for marketing their services on a national basis, subtlety was key.

“We were very interested in it being unique, not looking like a standard, cut-and-paste website,” said Cisneros, co-owner of Home Health Strategic Management in East Lansing. The company provides coaching and consulting services to Medicare home-care agencies that seek to provide quality, contemporary services to homebound clients.

Home Health signed on with i2Integration, and what they got in just two weeks, Cisneros said, was a logo and website that are striking in their subtlety.

“(i2Integration) followed our lead extremely well, and they weren’t trying to sell us something at every turn,” Cisneros said.

“Clients tell us they think the new website looks fantastic, and from the counter that keeps track of articles read by website visitors that we’ve written for national publications, it’s clear people are reading them.”

A website that focuses on substance rather than flash was pivotal, Cisneros said.

“It’s more about reflecting the quality of care, and a specific, professional website will reflect that,” Cisneros said. “Our website reflects that we’re concerned with the quality of our care, not the volume of customers. Everybody in home care should be aspiring to that.”

“Ultimately, it's the content that should be the driving force of a website,” said John Forsberg, CEO of i2Integration. “Particularly in healthcare-related websites, it's critical that content be easy to find, relevant and up-to-date. By implementing a content management system, we've given Home Health the ability to create and manage their content without having to rely on tech developers like us.

“In essence, we build our clients a car, teach them how to drive and hand over the keys. We've found that by building websites this way, content gets updated quicker and, in the end, it brings more people to the site.”

Home Health’s new website (www.homehealthstrategicmanagement.com) was developed using the DNN (Dot Net Nuke) content management system, a free, open-source system currently being used by over 125,000 users across the globe.

Started in 1994 as a division of Forsberg Group, Inc., i2Integration is a premier provider of web and IT solutions. Services include custom web development, IT support and multimedia production for clients in the healthcare, non-profit, government and business-to-business sectors.
